Have been unable to obtain verification of death through obituary or death notice but all his Facebook activity suddenly stopped in June 2021. Roland did not respond to several emails or telephone calls.  

Classmate Anita Stiles confirmed that he had passed away.  In June 2022 she told me via FB Messenger, "Roland is deceased. I have no details except that he ws found in his apartment."
