Mark Francis Diggs, 55, died in Fallon, Nevada of cardio-pulmonary arrest March 13, 2012.
Mark was born in Bethesda, MD December 26, 1956, the son of Mary Lou Diggs and the late Bernard J. Diggs, of Lakeland, Florida.
He was a graduate of St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Broward Community College in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Mark proudly served as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and worked as a Naval Contractor both domestically and overseas as an avionics specialist. Mark was an avid sportsman and outdoorsman and will be dearly missed by his family.
He is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Diggs of Lakeland, sister Beverly Nailling and her husband Ken of Valrico, FL, and brother Charles "Chuck" Diggs and his wife Maryann, of Lakeland. - See more at:

Mark was one of the first friends I made when I came from Little Flower. He had a very good sense of humour. This came in quite handy when we really messed up our science project in 8tu grade at OLQM. Mark was friends with most everyone who was in a band at STA. He learned the saxophone and performed with Ted's band which I was a part of. I didn't doubt for a minute that he would join the Marines. Our band members including Ted, John, Jeff Y. are now reunited. Indeed many more sweet sounds coming down from the night shift. God bless Mark & family.
